THE PREDICTION
This quarter-final tie is arguably the most even of all the matches as Clermont and Racing are very well matched. Their matches in recent seasons have been split pretty evenly and they have been involved in some tight games including a draw back in April 2019. Clermont were in superb form in the group stage so they will hope to carry that on but Racing will be highly motivated to get one over them. The two teams met back in April 2018 and it was Racing who progressed and the Parisien club have had edge in the key matches against them. They are marginally favoured to progress here but this really is a pick’em game that is best left alone and worth enjoying.
