THE PREDICTION
Perpignan look like one of the sides most likely to struggle at the bottom of the Top 14 this season after two hefty away defeats at Brive and most recently Lyon. They lost the latter of those by 44 points but a home win against fellow promoted side Biarritz is proof that they can at least do some damage limitation on their own turf. Travelling Toulon are a much tougher prospect, though, as they come off a thumping 38-5 win at home to Stade Francais last Sunday. They lost heavily on the road before that at Toulouse but they will be far from the only side to get battered by the irrepressible reigning champions. Take the away side to win outright here for a fairly cautious pick, with Perpignan’s home prowess still a relative unknown at this stage.
