Pau have one home win to their names so far with a great 21-17 result over Lyon but a 30-13 loss at Brive last time out still has them down as one of the sides likely to struggle this season. Travelling Montpellier beat Brive at home for their only win so far this season, although a 24-24 opening day draw at Toulon shows they are capable on the road. They lost a well-fought 15-17 match at home to Toulouse last Saturday to show for solid early form and taking them to win outright on the road at Pau looks a valuable move here.
