THE PREDICTION

Montpellier grabbed a confidence-boosting 39-17 win at home to Brive last Saturday to build on an opening round draw with Toulon. Maintaining that unbeaten run with this visit from Toulouse will be desperately tough to do, though, with the reigning champions already top of the league after two matches. A 41-10 bonus-point victory at home to Toulon last week is intimidating considering they have already travelled to - and won - at last season’s main rivals La Rochelle. This should be tight given Montpellier’s prowess on their own turf but Toulouse won here last season and they should be able to do so again.
