THE PREDICTION
Montpellier’s 2020/21 season last year was adversely affected by covid-19 postponements compared to the rest of the Top 14 and they should enjoy themselves more this season. They got the new campaign underway with an impressive 24-24 draw away at Toulon last Saturday, with the odd two points from a draw always a nice bonus to have at the end of the year. Travelling Brive had their moments last season but they could struggle this time around with the likes of lowly Agen taken out of the equation at the bottom of the table. They got off to a great start by beating Pro D2 champions Perpignan 36-15 at home last weekend but this trip to Montpellier looks tough. Take the hosts to cover -10 in what could be a fairly hefty total between them.
