THE PREDICTION
This warm-up match between Wales and France will hold special resonance with Welsh rugby fans everywhere as talismanic captain Alun Wyn Jones is set to equal Ritchie McCaw’s world record of 148 international caps in his 139th game for Wales (9 caps for the Lions are included in the overall). The occasion should be a happy for one for Jones and his teammates as they look for revenge for their Six Nations edition of this fixture in which the French stole a glorious away win from the Principality Stadium. Any momentum Les Bleus had built in their impressive campaign back in March is surely lost now but they will be keen to reinstate their new-look side as a force to be reckoned with at home here in Paris. The result could go either way, with Wales perhaps edging things, but the score struggling to reach 40 points looks a reasonable selection.
