- Catalans Dragons come into this clash with Hull FC on the back of an extended break after their clash with Wigan Warriors was postponed because of the Warriors opting not to play because of a COVID-19 outbreak amongst their squad.
- That means the Dragons’ previous game came against Hull KR and the French side will be hoping for a repeat outcome as they comfortably swept aside their opponents in a straightforward 34-4 success.

- Last has lost Jamie Shaul for this game after he picked up a knee injury during Sunday’s 48-6 victory so Jake Connor is expected to shift to fullback and that could pave the way for youngster Ben McNamara to come in to face his Dad, Steve, for the first time.

Catalans Dragons are on a three-match winning streak which has seen them break into the top four but they can ill-afford to slip up here with the chasing pack right on their tails. They take on one of those sides in Hull FC with the Black and Whites pulling themselves back into contention having won three of their last four. Hull youngster Ben McNamara could be pitted against opposition head coach Steve McNamara for the first time in an intriguing side story to this clash and the winner of the father or son battle could prove to be crucial for both teams. A loss for Hull all but ends their season and whilst they have proven to be extremely difficult to predict this season, their recent form suggests a +10 start for the away side could be enough to come out on top.
