THE PREDICTION

Parramatta Eels and Melbourne Storm will do battle for fourth spot in a winner-takes-all contest as the pair wrap up their regular season campaigns. Both will compete in the finals but will be gunning for a place in the top four in what could prove to be extremely beneficial for the victors. The Eels have won their last two by an aggregate scoreline of 95-12 after another impressive showing last week, racking up 53 points in their defeat of Brisbane Broncos. Having won their last four, the Storm were edged in a thriller against Sydney Roosters but showed enough in that contest to suggest they can end a three-game losing streak against the Eels, although this could go either way and in what should be a tight affair, expect the winning side to prevail by 1-12 points.
