THE PREDICTION
In what is arguably the tie of the round, both the Penrith Panthers and South Sydney Rabbitohs will look to keep up with leaders Melbourne Storm and move clear in second place. It is the visitors who have the greater form and momentum on their side having won their last 11 matches in the NRL. It will very much be a case of their attack against the Panthers defence which is arguably the best in the competition. The Rabbitohs have it all to prove though here as their last defeat came against the Panthers 12-56 back in May. That along with their 0-50 loss to Melbourne Storm will motivate them to show they can mix it with the top two but it may also lead to some doubts in the camp. With home advantage with the Panthers and the fact they have won five of the last six meetings between the two, the value lies with Penrith to get the win.
