Roman Safiullin vs Alejandro Tabilo prediction

Alejandro Tabilo’s disappointing 2025 has seen him drop out of the world’s top 100 in the past month. 

The Chilean has managed just five tour-level wins after a supreme 2024 saw him climb to 19 in the world last summer. 

The 28-year-old’s issues on and off court have hindered any attempt for consistency and he is featuring on tour in Cincinnati for the first time since the French Open.

That could open the door for Roman Safiullin, who has won two of his last five after a six-match losing streak. 

Safiullin appears happier on hard courts at present and with Tabilo likely to be undercooked, the Russian is an obvious pick to make it 2-0 in the head-to-head, having also won at the Olympics last year.
