Roman Burruchaga vs Jan-Lennard Struff prediction
Roman Burruchaga comes into this one on the back of a 2-1 loss to Alexei Popyrin in the first round of the Montreal Open. The 24-year-old Argentine had previously enjoyed five victories on clay at Estoril and in Croatia prior to that defeat.
Jan-Lennard Struff also exited Montreal in the first round as he succumbed to his own 2-1 loss, against Alex Michelsen. The German enjoyed a strong run at Wimbledon earlier this summer, reaching the quarter-finals before a straight sets loss to Jannik Sinner.
Struff will be content with his form heading into Cincinnati but this does appear to be a relatively evenly matched contest and so a long game may well be in prospect.
Roman Burruchaga vs Jan-Lennard Struff tip: Over 26.5 games
