Roman Andres Burruchaga vs Arthur Fery prediction

Roman Andres Burruchaga will be making his first grass court appearance of the season in Eastbourne. He last played at Roland Garros in May, winning his opening match against Sebastian Baez and then losing to Felix Auger-Aliassime in four sets. Burruchaga advanced to his first tour-level final earlier this year in Houston, losing to Tommy Paul.

Arthur Fery impressed at Queen’s Club last week. The Brit defeated compatriot Toby Samuel in round one and then backed that up with a fine victory over Adrian Mannarino to reach his first ever quarter-final on the ATP Tour. He battled hard against Francisco Cerundolo and went a break up in the deciding set, but the Argentine would come back to win. He has five wins from his seven matches on grass overall this season.

They faced each other in the qualifying stages of Miami earlier this year, with Fery coming from a set down to win. Despite being the lower-ranked player, he has performed well in recent weeks and will start as the favourite.
