Rinky Hijikata vs Jiri Lehecka prediction

Rinky Hijikata advanced at Queen’s after a comfortable first-round win over Alejandro Tabilo. The Australian was not broken on serve and conceded just the one break point as he won 6-2 6-4. He is now just one match away from a first quarter-final appearance on the ATP Tour this season.

However, he will have to beat 2025 finalist Jiri Lehecka to achieve that feat. The Czech got past Kamil Majchrzak in straight sets to progress to the next round. Majchrzak won his first tour-level event at the Libema Open last week and he was highly competitive in both sets, establishing a 4-2 lead in the second, but Lehecka battled to a 7-5 7-6 (4) win after one hour and 52 minutes.

Lehecka is emerging as a fine grass court player, and he will be expected to win this one. Hijikata should be encouraged by how he performed in round one, but Lehecka is a step up in terms of opposition.
