Rinky Hijikata vs Alejandro Tabilo prediction

Rinky Hijikata enters the main draw at Queen’s as a qualifier, following impressive wins over Dino Prizmic and Marcos Giron. Hijikata has already competed in two grass court events this season, as he lost in the quarter-finals of a Challenger event in Birmingham, and the second-round of the Stuttgart Open. His best result of the season was his run to the round-of-16 at Indian Wells, which included his first ever top 10 win as he beat Alexander Bublik.

His first-round opponent is Alejandro Tabilo. The Chilean capped off an impressive clay court season by reaching the round-of-16 at a major for the first time at Roland Garros. Tabilo has already won two titles in 2026. He also has a grass court title, having achieved the feat following success at the 2024 Mallorca Championships.

Hijikata does have momentum on his side after those wins in qualifying, while he also has a number of grass court matches under his belt. However, Tabilo is a quality player and can still dictate a lot of the rallies to his advantage.

Rinky Hijikata vs Alejandro Tabilo tip: Alejandro Tabilo to win
