Reilly Opelka’s rise up the rankings continues as he looks to make the most of a reprieve at the Libema Open. 

The American’s return from injury struggles has seen him progressively climb the ladder in 2025 and his 6-7 7-6 6-3 win over Jesper de Jong should push him back into the top 85. 

It’s a second chance following a defeat in qualifying that presents him with a big-hitting clash against Nicolas Jarry. 

The Chilean ousted eighth seed Luciano Darderi 5-7 6-4 7-6 in the first round and you can expect short points and big serving when he meets Opelka for the first time on tour. 

Jarry prevailed in a qualifier for the French Open back in 2017, but this will be a much different encounter eight years and on a faster surface. 

It may well go to a decider with a punt on the number of tie-breaks worth considering.
