There he will face qualifier Reilly Opelka whose serve and forehand was way too much for Sebastian Baez in a 6-3 6-4 triumph. 

It provides Botic with an instant opportunity to avenge the loss in qualifying for this very same tournament as the American claimed a 6-4 6-4 win just days earlier. 

The Dutchman did claim victory in their only tour-level meeting on hard four years ago courtesy of a pair of tie breaks and he may need a similar serving display this time around to have a chance of flipping the tables from qualifying.

The win over Lehecka will give him belief but if Opelka lands his powerhouse serve with any sort of regularity, he should prevail again.
