Rebecca Sramkova vs Varvara Gracheva prediction

Rebecca Sramkova got her Eastbourne campaign off to a comfortable start as she beat Jacqueline Cristian 6-2 6-3. She now has four wins from her last five matches on the surface after her early exit at Queen’s Club a fortnight ago. 

She will next face Varvara Gracheva as she edged out Camila Osorio in a very tight match to record her first victory against the Colombian at the third attempt. Gracheva saved 75% of her break points as she earned a late break of her own to win 6-4 4-6 7-5. She has three victories in a row this week, having also got past Caroline Dolehide and Viktorija Golubic in the qualifying stages of the competition.

Sramkova is performing well at the moment and looking agile on the grass. She made her first semi-final of the season last week in Nottingham and seems to be finding some form at the right time with Wimbledon fast approaching. We don’t see Gracheva challenging her enough to force an upset and the Slovakian will be the favourite to win this in straight sets and make the quarter-final.
