Rebecca Sramkova vs Barbora Krejcikova prediction

Rebecca Sramkova was an early casualty at Roland Garros as she fell to a first-round defeat to four-time French Open winner Iga Swiatek. Sramkova struggled for consistency during the clay season and her best result at a tournament this year remains a quarter-final at the Merida Open in late February.

She takes on Barbora Krejcikova in round one at Queen’s. Krejcikova is still in the early stages of her comeback on the tour this season. She lost in the first-round of Strasbourg before picking up her first win of the season in the first-round at Roland Garros. She would then go on to lose to Veronika Kudermetova in the next round, falling to a 6-0 6-3 defeat. 

Krejcikova is set to play her first match on grass since winning the Wimbledon final last year. Despite her lack of match practice this campaign, the short points will likely benefit her while her aggressive game and fine work at the net will always suit her on this surface. We expect her to make a winning return on grass.
