Raphael Collignon advanced to the quarter-finals of the Swiss Open in Gstaad after a battling win over Lorenzo Sonego. Both sets went to tiebreaks, with Collignon finding his best level at the key moments to win 7-6 (2) 7-6 (5) after two hours and eight minutes. He is now into the last eight of an ATP event for the third time this season. Collignon, who has also won two Challenger titles, is at his highest ranking of 42 in the world.
