Raphael Collignon vs Timofey Skatov prediction

Raphael Collignon will be searching for his first win in three matches when he begins his campaign in Gstaad. The Belgian is close to breaking into the top 40 of the world rankings for the first time, but he did suffer early exits in Eastbourne and Wimbledon. He now returns to his favoured clay, with Collignon having won 12 of his 15 matches on the surface this season.

He will face Timofey Skatov in the first-round. Skatov qualified for this tournament after two straight set victories. This is just his second ATP main draw appearance of the season, following an opening round defeat at the Grand Prix Hassan II, but he has advanced to a couple of finals on the Challenger Tour. The 25-year-old failed to qualify for Roland Garros or Wimbledon.

This is an ideal opportunity for Collignon to return to winning ways, and he should have too much quality for Skatov.
