Quentin Halys vs Felix Auger-Aliassime Prediction
Quentin Halys came through a really tough quarter-final with Luca Nardi on Thursday. He looked physically laboured in the first set which he lost but got going in the second and then battled all the way in the deciding set tie-break to win 2-6 6-3 7-6.
That was his fifth match of the week as he had come through the qualifying rounds and it looked to be taking its toll as he was completely outplayed in the first set. He somehow dug in to fightback but his physical condition has to be a concern ahead of this match.
Felix Auger-Aliassime on the other hand, is look in fine shape right now and he comes off a three-set battle with Marin Cilic. That was his third successive three-set match but he looked strong and is playing so well right now.
Auger-Aliassime played and beat Halys in Doha last week and it is hard to see any other outcome here. Expect the Canadian to win and we think he does it in straight sets too.
