Quentin Halys vs Benjamin Bonzi prediction
Quentin Halys began his grass court season in Stuttgart and made the second-round before he was defeated by Taylor Fritz in straight sets, with the American going on to win the tournament. Halys pushed Fritz all the way in the second set tiebreak and seems to have improved his level in recent weeks, having registered his best finish at Roland Garros this year by making the third-round.
He takes on Benjamin Bonzi in round one of Halle. Bonzi lost in the first-round of the same event last week to Jiri Lehecka. He got over that disappointment in the qualifying stages here as he won both matches without the drop of a set.
Bonzi has won both of their main tour matches but this will be the first meeting on grass. Neither player is clearly superior to the other on this surface and we can see a very evenly matched encounter between the two.
