Her next opponent is Petra Marcinko. The world number 81 defeated veteran Tatjana Maria in straight sets. She controlled the opening set, but Maria looked set to level the match up after breaking to go 5-3 up. However, Marcinko reeled off the final four games to win 6-3 7-5. That was the Croatian’s first ever victory at a Grand Slam.
