Petra Kvitova vs Viktorija Golubic prediction

Petra Kvitova will be a big name under threat when she meets Viktorija Golubic.

The Czech veteran has lost five of her six matches since returning from a 16-month absence from the tour. 

Golubic isn’t exactly firing on all cylinders with three defeats in a row and just one win in her last five, but she has far more match fitness than the former French Open semi-finalist. 

They have met once before but it will be largely irrelevant given it was seven years ago in the Billie Jean King Cup.

If Kvitova could hit anywhere near her level of old she’d be the tip, but the 35-year-old simply isn’t there right now and  Golubic really should be taking advantage of it.
