Petra Kvitova vs Beatriz Haddad Maia prediction

Petra Kvitova has won just one match during her comeback this season and lost in the first-round of the French Open to Viktorija Golubic. Despite her lowly ranking, Kvitova did make the fourth-round of Wimbledon in her last appearance at the All-England Club in 2023 and had also won the German Open just a few weeks prior, which remains her last title. The Czech has won six titles on grass and will be a seeking a deep run at Queen’s Club.

She takes on Beatriz Haddad Maia in round one. Haddad Maia has endured a very difficult season since reaching the third-round of the Australian Open in January. However, she returned to form in Strasbourg a few weeks ago as she made the semi-finals and pushed eventual winner Elena Rybakina all the way, losing in three sets despite going up an early break in the third. She could not keep up the momentum in Paris as she lost to Hailey Baptiste in the first-round.

They have played twice before with both matches taking place on grass. Haddad Maia won in straight sets three years ago in Birmingham as she won the event but Kvitova exacted revenge just eight days later in Eastbourne on her way to winning a tournament of her own

This is a tough one to call as both are capable on the grass and we see this going the full distance.

Petra Kvitova vs Beatriz Haddad Maia tip: Over 2.5 sets
