Question marks remain over Pedro Martinez’s fitness as the Spaniard has lost all of his matches since sustaining a shoulder issue at Wimbledon. 

The Spaniard’s serve could again be vulnerable if he can’t fire on all cylinders and Nicolas Jarry will hope to take advantage as he continues a return to form. 

The Chilean enjoyed a fine run on grass and reached the round of 16 at Wimbledon to move back within the top 100. 

This will be their third meeting with a win apiece on clay. Jarry won the most recent of those two years ago and appears to have his service Mojo flowing nicely again.

That could spell trouble for Martinez and with all factors considered on a hard court where serve will be key, it’s well worth a look at Jarry pulling off a surprise in terms of the rankings.
