Paula Badosa vs Daria Kasatkina prediction

Paula Badosa has rebuilt her season after falling outside of the top 100, and she is now back up to 59 in the world. The former world number two won a WTA 125 title in Bastad and also reached the final of the Iasi Open. She began this month with a spirited US Open loss in the second-round to Coco Gauff, before reaching the semi-finals in Sao Paulo.

Daria Kasatkina is currently on a four-match losing run, and has also lost five of her last six matches overall. She struggled with an injury which kept her out of an early part of the season, but she has just one tour-level quarter-final in 2026. Her highlight of the year was a lower-level title at the Catalonia Open. Her last event ended at the first-round stage to Aliaksandra Sasnovich at the Singapore Open.

Badosa actually won their last meeting at the US Open right at the end of last month, winning in straight sets. She is the favourite to pick up another victory against Kasatkina.
