Parramatta Eels vs North Queensland Cowboys prediction
The Parramatta Eels (15th) were gutsy in a 16-160 loss to the Melbourne Storm in Round 22, their fourth loss in five matches.
The North Queensland Cowboys (13th) are in a slump, also losing four of their last five, including a 32-12 defeat to their nemesis team, the Cronulla Sharks in Round 22.
Eels winger Josh Addo-Carr has scored 11 tries in 11 matches against the North Queensland Cowboys.
The Cowboys have lost all three H2H matches against the Parramatta at this venue
This has traditionally been a closely contested rivalry, with the Eels holding a slender 25-22 advantage from 48 matches, with one draw. However, the Eels have won five of their last seven encounters against the Cowboys.
Both teams are playing for pride after disappointing seasons. The Eels' effort against Melbourne will give them confidence. The return of Taumalolo is huge for the Cowboys, but the Eels at home should have a slight advantage
Parramatta Eels vs North Queensland Cowboys tip: Parramatta Eels to win by 1-12 points
