Parramatta Eels vs Manly Sea Eagles prediction
The Parramatta Eels recorded a satisfying 28-6 win against the Newcastle Knights in Round 11 in what was their most complete performance of the season. Knights fans saw reason for hope with Dylan Brown offering a glimpse into their million-dollar future with a try, a try assist, 146 running metres and an offload. The heat goes back on Brown with Mitchell Moses on Origin duty and these are the games he is “supposed” to dominate.
The Manly Sea Eagles also turned in arguably their best effort of the season getting the better of the Cowboys in Townsville 24-6. High yardage games from their outside backs laid the foundation for their fifth win of the season and a passage back into the Top Six for now. Manly would have expected to lose Cherry-Evans and probably Olakau’atu and his exclusion from the NSW team becomes a nice little bonus for the Eagles this week.
The two sides have split their last six contests with three wins each. At CommBank Stadium however the Eels have won five of the six matches against their Northen Beaches rival. This one comes at a good time for the Sea Eagles and we think they can take advantage of some key Parramatta outs to record a narrow victory.
