Pablo Carreno Busta vs Felix Auger-Aliassime prediction

Pablo Carreno Busta recovered from a set down for the second successive match as he impressively defeated Alejandro Tabilo in round two of the Shanghai Masters. The 35-year-old was also a break down in the second set, but broke back in the very next game and turned the match around to win 4-6 7-6 (2) 6-4 after two hours and 42 minutes. This was Carreno Busta’s third win over Tabilo from four matches, and this is now his best result at a Masters 1000 event this season.

He will face Felix Auger-Aliassime next. The Canadian was far from his best but did win his opening match against Camilo Ugo Carabelli. Auger-Aliassime committed 57 unforced errors and had to come from a set down, winning 4-6 7-6 (1) 7-5 after two hours and 58 minutes. This was a return to winning ways for the 26-year-old, who lost in the first-round of the China Open to Karen Khachanov last week.

Carreno Busta is the clear underdog, but he should be able to remain competitive for at least a set if he extends the rallies and forces errors from his opponent.
