Olga Danilovic vs Emma Raducanu prediction
Olga Danilovic has already beaten at Brit at this year’s tournament after a straight sets win over Katie Boulter in the first-round. The Serb made a stunning start as she took the first set 6-0 but was forced to dig in during the second as Boulter raised her game. Nevertheless, Danilovic saved six set points in total as Boulter served for the second at 5-4 up, reeling off three straight games to win the set 7-5 and clinch victory.
She now goes up against Emma Raducanu in round two. The British number one picked up two more victories in Montreal, following on from her run to the semi-finals in Washington. However, she was completely uncompetitive against Wimbledon finalist Amanda Anisimova in the third-round, losing 6-2 6-1. The number of matches and the quick turnaround may have played their part, but Raducanu has had a week to prepare for this event and will be hoping to get more wins on the board.
Danilovic is a tricky opponent for Raducanu, and she will have to be ready from the off. However, she has done a good job of getting through her first-round matches comfortably this year and she will still be a strong favourite to get through.
