Hamad Medjedovic takes on fellow youngster Nishesh Basavareddy for a place in the round of 16 in Mallorca. 

The 21-year-old Serb has a couple of years more experience than his opponent on grass but has yet to truly make much impact.

Basavareddy is making his ATP Tour bow on the surface this year and posted a couple of impressive wins in qualifying. 

They have met once before in US Open qualifying last year and there’s a good chance Medjedovic will have the weapons to come through again here.
