Nikola Bartunkova vs Anastasia Potapova prediction

Nikola Bartunkova, the world number 38, produced an impressive performance to ease past Antonia Ruzic in the first round at the Monterrey Open. Bartunkova put in some strong showings at the WTA 100 events in Montreal and then Cincinnati.

Anastasia Potapova comes into this one on the back of a straight sets defeat to Sloane Stephens in the first round of the Cincinnati Open earlier this month. The 25-year-old Austrian hasn’t won back-to-back games since reaching the round of 16 at Roland-Garros.

Potapova has endured a tough time of it of late and that should mean a closer contest than usually expected but the world number 25 does remain favourite.
