Nicolas Jarry vs Jiri Lehecka Prediction

Nicolas Jarry has started the year in fine form as he has looked good so far in Brisbane winning his opening two singles matches and a couple of doubles matches also.

The giant Chilean 29-year-old has beaten Mariano Navone and Benjamin Bonzi in straight sets and his all-round game has been looking strong so far.

He now meets Jiri Lehecka and that certainly represents a step up in calibre. The Czech 23-year-old was frustrated with an injury in 2024 but he ended the year well and will be aiming to start 2025 strong.

He has looked sharp in beating Holger Rune in the first round and then did well to come through a three-set battle with Yoshihito Nishioka on Wednesday. He blasted 17 aces in that match last time out and also created 12 break points.

With both players possessing a strong serve, this match will likely come down to the return game and who can create opportunities against the serve. Lehecka has the better return game and for that reason, we favour him to get the win here in what could be a tight match with long sets.

Nicolas Jarry vs Jiri Lehecka Tip: Jiri Lehecka to win / Over 23.5 games
