Nicolas Jarry vs Dino Prizmic prediction
Nicolas Jarry has qualified for the 2026 ATP 250 Chile Open as a wildcard entry. The world number 121, who was ranked as high as 16th in May 2024, was beaten in the first qualifying round of the Rio Open last week and he is on a nine-match losing streak since losing in the round of 16 at Wimbledon last summer.
Dino Prizmic comes into this one on the back of a hard-fought qualifying campaign that involved victories against Gustavo Heide and Hugo Dellien. Prizmic did manage to qualify for the Rio Open, too, last week, before succumbing to a 6-3, 6-4 loss to Federico Passaro in the first round.
Prizmic is far from a force for this Chile Open but he will fancy himself to cause upset to the home crowd with the defeat of a regressing Jarry in this first round.
