Los Angeles Chargers were able to avoid a third straight loss as they
got the better of Philadelphia Eagles in a tense affair last week. The
Chargers now sit at 5-3 as a result of that victory and they will be
desperate to build on that with every win likely to be crucial in what
is a hugely competitive AFC West division with all four teams currently
sitting on five wins. 3-5 Minnesota Vikings are their competitors here
and time is already running out for them to save their season after they
made it back-to-back losses with a defeat to Baltimore Ravens last
week. It was another loss which was hard to swallow for the Vikings with
them going down in overtime of that contest and while their play is
perhaps more rewarding than what their record shows, the Chargers look
set to compound their woes in this one.
