New Zealand Warriors vs Wests Tigers prediction

The New Zealand Warriors (4th), fresh from a bye in Round 18, will be looking to rebound from a 14-point loss to the Brisbane Broncos in Round 17. Their recent form has been patchy for a top-four side, winning just two out of five.

The Wests Tigers (14th) shocked the competition with a thrilling 30-28 victory over the Sydney Roosters in Round 18. It was a much-needed win, though their recent record also stands at two wins from five.

Warriors hooker Wayde Egan continues to be a defensive stalwart, having made an immense 618 tackles so far this season.

Wests Tigers winger Sunia Turuva has been a breakout star for the club, using his speed and finishing ability to score 10 tries.

This has been one of the most one-sided rivalries in the NRL. The Warriors have completely dominated the Tigers, winning the last eight consecutive NRL matches between the two clubs.

Despite the Tigers' newfound confidence and the return of their stars, the Warriors' incredible recent record against them, coupled with their home-ground advantage, makes them strong favourites in this one.
