New Zealand Warriors vs Canberra Raiders prediction

The New Zealand Warriors play host to the Canberra Raiders in what shapes as a physical and compelling encounter to finish off Round 12 on Sunday.

The Warriors fought hard against the Dolphins and secured a gritty 16-12 win, their eighth victory of the campaign and strengthening their quest for securing a Top Four ladder position. The Warriors form has been franked after the Dolphins annihilated the Bulldogs 44-8 in the opening match of Round 12.

The Canberra Raiders are also in the midst of a banner season. They dominated the Titans 40-24 with Xavier Savage scoring three tries to solidify their fourth place on the ladder. With just one home match in their next five, this looms as a crucial time in their season.

The teams have split their last eight matches with four wins apiece. Most recently, they kicked off the season in Las Vegas with the Raiders trouncing the Warriors 30-8.

With the Warriors big men in the middle missing, this game shapes as a typical Ricky Stuart ambush on the road match and we think the Raiders are a good bet on Sunday.
