Nathan Aspinall vs Luke Littler prediction
Nathan Aspinall heads into Leeds just one point behind Michael van Gerwen, who currently occupies the final playoff spot in the table. The Stockport thrower reached the semi-finals in Birmingham last week, losing to table-topper Luke Littler, whom he faces again in Leeds.
The Asp entered the European Darts Grand Prix over the weekend as the seventh seed, but was eliminated by Niels Zonneveld in his opening match.
Littler had been experiencing something of a dip until last week, when he went all the way in Birmingham to cement his spot at the top of the table. The world champion is now just five points short of the 40 he managed in topping last year's table.
The 18-year-old didn't have to play his best darts to win last week, but he has won all four of his meetings with good friend Aspinall in the Premier League this year, and should have too much once again.
