The Spaniard is now eyeing her second tour-final of 2026 after easing to a 6-4 6-2 victory at the expense of the American.
The second seed will now meet Nadia Podoroska for the second time after the Argentine claimed a 7-6 3-6 6-3 win over Suzan Lamens.
Badosa prevailed 6-2 6-3 in their maiden tussle at the Olympics back in 2021 and will be the clear favourite, but the former world number two is not the same force as back then and her South American opponent has what it takes to force an upset if she has enough left in the tank.
