Moyuka Uchijima vs Camila Osorio prediction
Moyuka Uchijima has now gone eight matches without a victory. She last won a match on the 13th of May and her form has completely plummeted ever since making the quarter-finals of the Madrid Open in late April. She reached her highest ranking of 47 just three months ago but has now dropped down to 76 already. She lost to Marie Bouzkova in straight sets last week in round one of the Canadian Open.
Camila Osorio was on a losing streak of her own but snapped her run of four matches without a win in Montreal last week, beating Bernarda Pera in straight sets in the first-round. Her return to winning ways was short-lived however, as she was defeated by Dayana Yastremska in round two despite taking the first set. The Colombian has struggled during this part of the season with her best result on a hard court being a last eight finish in Singapore at the end of January.
Uchijima cannot find a win from anywhere at the moment and is very low on confidence. Osorio will be the favourite to come through with a victory and advance to the second-round.
