Moez Echargui vs Stefanos Tsitsipas prediction
Moez Echargui began the season with three straight losses, as he failed to make an impact in Quimper on the Challenger Tour and was unable to qualify for the Australian Open. He did show some form in Pau as he won his first two matches of the season to make the quarter-finals, where he was defeated by Clement Tabur despite taking the first set.
The Tunisian has been handed a wildcard for this event and takes on former world number three Stefanos Tsitsipas in round one. Tsitsipas lost in the second-round of the Australian Open to Tomas Machac but got back to winning ways with a straight sets win over Arthur Rinderknech in the first-round of the Rotterdam Open. However, Tsitsipas would go on to lose to Botic van de Zandschulp in straight sets.
Tstsipas has not had the impact he would have hoped in the early stages of 2026, but he should still have more than enough quality to defeat Echargui in straight sets.
