WARLLEY ALVES VS JEREMIAH WELLS LOWDOWN
Warlley Alves brings a 14-4 record into this fight and after originally being slated to face Ramazan Emeev, the Russian was forced to withdraw so he now meets UFC newcomer Jeremiah Wells. Alves is coming off a Performance of the Night TKO win over Mounir Lazzez back in January so he will be full of confidence here. He is looking to pick up back-to-back wins for the first time since 2017/18 and he will be confident of doing so against Wells.
Wells has a pro MMA record of 8-2-1 as he makes his UFC debut but he will have to overcome any potential ring rust in what is his first fight since September 2019. The Philadelphia native will be desperate to take his chance in the Octagon which comes at the age of 34. He will bring plenty of explosiveness however and he will look for the stoppage from the first bell.

Jeremiah Wells faces a baptism of fire on his UFC debut but he will not be phased by it. Warlley Alves does represent a stiff challenge for him however and the Brazilian is heavily favoured. Wells has a decent track record with some solid opponents on his resume but nobody at the level of Alves. It is hard to see anything other than an Alves win and he could well get the stoppage too.
