STEVEN PETERSON VS LUCAS ALEXANDER LOWDOWN

Steven Peterson (19-10) makes his eighth UFC appearance hoping to improve upon his 3-4 record in the UFC. We started to see what he is capable of when he pulled off that spectacular spinning back elbow on Martin Bravo (2019) and outworked Chase Hooper (2021) earning a unanimous decision. However, he suffered another setback a year ago in a ‘Fight of the Night’ performance losing a split decision to Julian Erosa.

He welcomes Lucas Alexander (7-3) back to the octagon for his second UFC appearance. He arrived to the UFC back in October riding a five-fight win streak including three knockouts. They earnt him a tough debut in the form of Joanderson Brito who handed out a slap of reality submitting him the first round.

STEVEN PETERSON VS LUCAS ALEXANDER PREDICTION

This should be a very exciting featherweight contest. Peterson will not take a backwards step and will be happy to eat a few shots to offload his own. Alexander is cut from a similar cloth and always hunts the finish.

Alexander is a diverse and powerful striker. He will look to kick from range and counter Peterson when he rushes in. We do not expect much grappling here and considering how durable Peterson is, we expect him to be able to weather the early storm and return an overwhelming volume to sway the judges over three rounds.
