SARA MCMANN VS KAROL ROSA LOWDOWN
Sara McMann (12-6) returns at the ripe old age of 41. She makes the UFC walk for the 12th time since making her debut all the way back in 2013. She fought the best straight off the bat taking on Ronda Rousey (2014), Miesha Tate (2015) and Amanda Nunes (2015) in her first five fights and she has not faired too much better since. She is 6-6 in the UFC now and lost three of her last four which were all via submission. The current champion was the last to dent the record wrapping up a rear-naked choke back in January 2021.
Karol Rosa (15-3) is the next young wolf lined up for the veteran and she is coming in hot with six straight wins. She arrived to the UFC with the reputation of a finisher, but has found it tougher to put away the better talent. That said, she has beaten everyone so far including Lara Procopio (2019) via split decision and Vanessa Melo (2020), Joselyne Edwards (2021) and Bethe Correia (2021) getting the nod from all three judges.

We all know what to expect from McMann now and that will be to bring her Olympic level wrestling to the table along with her power and toughness but the holes in her game are clear.
Rosa only needs to defend a couple takedowns to start dictating the fight. She is a lot more well-rounded and also been a lot more active than McMann. Combine that with her youth, the 27-year-old is only getting better and we expect her to defend enough takedowns to inflict all the damage on the feet with her output and pressure to sway the judges.
