PAT SABATINI VS RAFAEL ALVES LOWDOWN

The former two-time Cage Fury Fighting Champion Pat Sabatini (13-3) makes his debut filling in for Mike Trizano who pulls out with an ankle injury. He is 5-1 in his last five and after injuring his arm in the James Gonzalez fight a year ago, he kept active and notched two more wins against Jordan Titoni via knockout and Jesse Stirn via submission back in September.

Rafael Alves (19-9) also makes his debut and is enjoying a five-fight win streak with three finishes in his last three. He has not been super active, but he is coming off a second-round submission over Alejandro Flores on the Contender Series back in August and is still carrying the momentum of submitting Beibit Nazarov in 2018 and knocking out Felipe Douglas in April 2019 both under the Titan Fighting Championship banner.

PAT SABATINI VS RAFAEL ALVES PREDICTION

Sabatini is an excellent grappler, and he will no doubt want to mark his debut with the 10th submission of his career. Alves also has the debut fire in him and is the favourite with the firepower to claim a finish of his own.

Alves has seven submissions on his record, but he will rather stand with Sabatini and look for the knockout. However, Sabatini will be drooling at the six submission losses on Alves’ record believing it will only be a matter of time if the fight goes to the floor and we expect him to shoot in early and eventually land the takedown to wrap up the submission.
