KENNEDY NZECHUKWU VS KARL ROBERSON LOWDOWN
Fighting out of Dallas Texas, Kennedy Nzechukwu (9-3) is currently enduring the worst spell of his professional career so far. Nzechukwu is riding back-to-back defeats against Da Un Jung and, most recently, Nick Negumereanu. His last win came in June 2021 against Danilo Marques. Therefore, he’ll be looking to put on a show for the UFC faithful this weekend.
As for this weekend’s opponent, Karl Roberson (9-5) is also currently enduring the worst spell of his professional career so far. Roberson is coming off of three defeats in a row against Marvin Vettori, Brendan Allen and, most recently, Khalil Rountree Jr. back in March this year. Roberson hasn’t won a fight since 2019.

Heading into this weekend’s light-heavyweight bout, Nzechukwu will have a significant advantage in both the height and reach department.
It’s fair to say that Roberson has had a mixed start to his UFC career so far. Deep down, he will feel like he should be performing better, which he can. His striking is crisp and his ground game has improved over the years. With that being said, he just seems to make life difficult for himself inside the octagon, always playing into his opponent’s hands. Roberson has the ability to get it done, however, it’s unlikely. From the off, we suspect that Nzechukwu will look to use his big reach to his advantage and maybe look for a knockout finish with the power that he possesses.
