IKRAM ALISKEROV VS ANTONIO TROCOLI LOWDOWN
Ikram Aliskerov (15-1) finally appears after having two fights fall through this year. He slotted into prospect status after making light work of Mario Sousa (2022) on the Contender Series wrapping up an armbar in the first round. He then went on to mark his first two pay-per-view cards with spectacular first-round knockouts over Phil Hawes (UFC 288) and Warlley Alves (UFC 294) last year.
He was preparing for Andre Muniz, but unfortunately the Brazilian withdrew due to injury. Up steps Antonio Trocoli (12-3(1)) who has not fought since 2021. That was a submission win over Reslley Isael on the Brazilian Fighting Series and since then, he had fights fall through against Ovince St Preux in December 2022 and recently against Oumar Sy back in May.
IKRAM ALISKEROV VS ANTONIO TROCOLI PREDICTION
Trocoli deserves a lot of credit in accepting this fight on short notice as he is getting fed to the slaughter here. He has fought once in the last five years and does not have any notable wins.
Aliskerov on the other hand is a beast destined to burst through the top of the middleweight rankings. He has not been tested at the highest level yet, but he blasted through Hawes and Alves with ease.
He is a decorated Combat Sambo competitor with several gold medals with his only MMA loss coming to Khamzat Chimaev back in 2019. He is a dangerous striker with a variety of kicks and he is a monster in the grappling department.
Trocoli’s only advantage is his height and reach, but the Russian will knock him out or submit him.
