DIANA BELBITA VS HANNAH GOLDY LOWDOWN

Diana Belbita will be desperate for a win here having lost her last two fights in the Octagon to Molly McCann and Liana Jojua. Those bouts were her first two in the UFC and she will fear a third successive loss could put her future in the organisation in jeopardy. She will look to go back to basics here but she faces a tough test.

Hannah Goldy is coming a loss of her own against Miranda Granger last time out so she will be eager to bounce back from the first loss of her career. While she may lack the experience of Belbita, she is one of the most exciting prospects to emerge out of Dana White’s Contender series and an excellent prospect. She will be desperate to get her first win in the Octagon here.

With Belbita holding such a significant height and reach advantage over Goldy, much will depend on how successful Goldy is on getting on the inside. Four of her five career wins have come via decision and she will be looking to grind one out here. With both fighters coming off losses, it would be no surprise if both approached this a little cautiously and this fight went the distance.
