BROGAN WALKER VS JULIANA MILLER LOWDOWN
Amanda Nunes’ second pick Brogan Walker (7-2) made up for inactivity and some patchy form leading up to the tournament by storming her way into the finale. Juliana Miller (2-1) is more experienced than the record suggests with a 7-0 amateur record to go with her successful run in the tournament. She was Julliana Pena’s second pick and kicked off with a unanimous decision over Nunes’ first pick Claire Guthrie who inflicted Miller’s sole career loss before the tournament. After avenging that loss, she followed it up with a submission over Kaytlin Neil to book her place in the finale.

Both ladies are very exciting and aggressive fighters so we should be in for a fun scrap here. Walker is more technical and Miller is wild. That will suit Walker on the feet as Miller tends to leave her chin exposed when charging in and Walker has the skill to snipe.
Miller is a big flyweight and is dangerous on the feet, but she is more of a grappler and will look for an opportunity to get the fight to the floor. Walker has the nous to avoid and counter the rush attacks of Miller and outclass her on the feet however, her takedown defence is a worry.
If Miller’s game plan is to get the fight to floor, we would back her to win a decision, but if she tests her ego and decides to stand, Walker will walk away with the trophy.
